Ice Cream, Metal Monday reflections

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2004

So last night was one of the bigger Metal Mondays we’ve ever had. Fun was had by all. Especially Jim, who “sang” White Wedding in his own inimitable style. He almost made me laugh harder than Smooth Daddy Cold Snot from last week. Eric rickert also did a bang up version of Number of the Beast. He actually sang the intro in 5, even though he was drunker than Bukowski. Happy Birthday, E-rock!! And then, the super sexy Rahma wowed us all with her version of Cherry Bomb. She’s been to about every metal monday, and we’ve all been dying for her to sing. Let’s hope we get a repeat performance next week. I’ve been so busy waiting tables, my head is spinning. Christina threw a basket of bread at me tonight. Really professional, Christina! I just had a bowl of vanilla ice cream with hershey’s syrup. I like that snack a lot.

caffeine, metal monday

Tuesday, November 16th, 2004

Last night was a crazy metal monday. This guy named Smooth Daddy cold snot sang welcome to the Jungle and made up words like “I like tits and ass and I like to put my dick between’em…I’m drunk and really stoned….I’ve never smoked crack, but I bet this is what it feels like…” Man, I could barely hold it together. This guy named Axel (I think) sang running with the devil and fell on the floor. Robert kicked some ass with separate ways and Jack made power ballad history with sister christian and Keep on (Fuckin) lovin you. God bless you all and god bless america. I’ve drank some good coffee and feel pretty good. I hope my buzz will dissipate a little before work. You can come to sermet’s and watch tonight and if I’m shaking and laughing uncontrollably, please get me a sedative or something. Still waiting on them batteries.

Batteries

Sunday, November 7th, 2004

I need some batteries for the remote control for my digital cable. It’s one of those things that you never think of doing, except when you’re contorting yourself to change the frigging channel and cursing. I saw that next season of 6 feet under will be the last one. I hope that was their choice and it’ll be a whopping good ending. I’ll miss that show, since it was my very favorite thing i ever did see, but I’m glad it’s not going to descend into suckdom, a la X files and Ally McBeal (hopefully) If anyone could email me some AAA batteries, I’d really appreciate it.

I was a blog virgin before right now

Friday, November 5th, 2004

So right now I’m popping my blog cherry. I feel like my profile was kind of a blog. I’m so glad I can blog. Blogging is going to change my life. It hurts a little but feels good at the same time.
